Owner, Jim McIlrath, retired from the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2017. An ordained Minister of 45 years, Jim still preaches every Sunday as the Retired supply pastor at Taylors (Global) Methodist Church in Brunswick, GA. He started renewing docks as a hobby a year or so into his retirement. His successful little hobby quickly grew into Dock Dynasty, located in Brunswick, GA. Jim employs several loyal crews and works with the DNR to write and obtain permits, design new docks or fix old ones. Dock Dynasty's workers are committed to solid workmanship you can trust.  

Jim is married to Debbie, a retired music educator, his sweetheart and best friend of 51 years. They have three grown, married children with six grandchildren, one great-grandson and a chihuahua named Little Bit.
